Homestead Heritage Exhibit Program
The Kendall County Fair Association has a 100 year tradition of providing a venue for our local farmers and ranchers and their families to showcase their best products. Every year during the Kendall County Fair, KCFA hosts an Exhibit Hall Showcase as a culmination event for this program. The mission of the KCFA Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Program is to establish a learning environment to honor the past, showcase the present and encourage and enhance the rural heritage and agricultural industries of Kendall County.

KCFA built its first Exhibit Hall and began this program in 1918. After a devastating fire in 1984 that burned down the original 66 year old building, KCFA along with the Women's Auxiliary and the whole community donated funds and many volunteer hours to create the Exhibit Hall that you see today.
The Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Program is the Heart of the Fair. It continues to showcase the many talents of Kendall County citizens year after year. Local citizens, young and old, enter exhibits, into judged competitions and showcase the fruits of their labor with pride. From Baking to Taxidermy, citizens vie for awards and for the designation of "Best in Division" for the overall best entry in an age group category or division.

If you have never entered an exhibit, we invite you to do so this year! The Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Program will showcase twenty two divisions which include crafts, taxidermy, agriculture, gardening, home products, soft spreads, baking, needle work, sewing, quilting, ceramics, antiques, relics, photography, art and floral entries for adults and youth groups down to the age of four.
We also invite you to come out to see the exhibits during our Kendall County Fair! Enjoy visiting each display as you experience the American crafts that made this nation great! We also have an annual "Apple Pie" Contest that brings out the best bakers in Kendall County!

Come out and join us at this year at the Kendall County Fair on Labor Day Weekend! For more information and to enter an exhibit you can view our Annual Kendall County Fair Catalog.
