KCFA Leadership

Senior Directors

Becoming a “Senior Director” is a distinction earned through years of dedication, hard work, and service to the Kendall County Fair Association. Directors achieve this honor after completing nine or more years of volunteer service—an accomplishment that reflects a deep commitment to the organization and community. Past and present Senior Directors have shaped the foundation of the association. Their legacy lives on through continued support, guidance, and leadership—fifteen have even served as President. Their impact ensures the fair remains a successful and meaningful tradition for the community.

The first Senior Directors, elected on June 1, 1985, were Fred Reissig, Frank Sultenfuss, Joe Montgomery, and L.M. Holman. Since then, many have played vital roles in the association’s growth, including leadership in milestone events like the 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2005.

We proudly recognize and thank our Senior Directors for their lasting contributions. Their continued involvement—through meetings, workdays, and event preparation—helps carry forward the vision and tradition of the annual Kendall County Fair.
