Homestead Heritage Exhibition Hall
The Homestead Heritage Exhibition Hall was originally built in 1918 and served as a central gathering place for early Kendall County Fair Association events. After the original building was destroyed by fire in 1984, the current Exhibit Hall was rebuilt through donated funds and hundreds of volunteer hours from directors, auxiliary members, and the community.
In support of our mission to give back, the KCFA also offers a scholarship program. Links to the application and past recipients can be found below.
Queen's Court
Scholarship Pageant
The Kendall County Fair Association has awarded Queen’s Court Scholarships for over 30 years to young women who represent the KCFA and their communities. The annual Miss Kendall County Fair Pageant is held during the Labor Day Weekend Fair, where contestants from across the county compete for the title.
Scholarships are awarded upon high school graduation after completing their reign and enrolling in a college or trade school of their choice. We look forward to another great year!
Karen Rust Memorial Livestock Scholarship
In memory and honor of Karen Rust, former Director and Senior Director of the Kendall County Fair Association, Inc. (KCFA), the KCFA has established the Karen Rust Memorial Livestock Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding graduating senior who has participated, or is currently participating, as an exhibitor in the Kendall County Livestock Show during the annual Kendall County Fair as a member of a local 4-H or FFA chapter.
