Marilyn is an 18-year director and has volunteered with KCFA for over 40 years. A lifelong resident of Kendall County, she was born and raised in Boerne. Now retired, she dedicates countless hours to serving on the KCFA Board. Marilyn and her husband, Kirby, have two sons, Kirk and Kevin, daughters-in-law Tricia and Jennifer, and three granddaughters: Alexis, Hannah, and Tenley.
She began volunteering in the Exhibit Hall and later joined the KCFA Women’s Auxiliary, where she served as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. From 2004–2010, she was Lady Manager of the Exhibit Hall. Since becoming a director, she has overseen the Exhibit Hall, Apple Pie Contest, Coloring Contest, and Fair Catalog, and previously served as Secretary. She currently serves as KCFA Treasurer and is Chairman of Oma’s Christmas Fair and the Community Garage Sale.
