2026 Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Entries

Showcase Your Talent at the 120th Kendall County Fair!

Be part of a Kendall County tradition that has been bringing our community together for generations! The Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall is the heart of the Kendall County Fair, showcasing the incredible talents, creativity, and craftsmanship of residents of all ages.

Whether you’re an experienced exhibitor or entering for the very first time, we’d love to see your work on display. From photography, artwork, antiques, horticulture, taxidermy, baked goods, handcrafted items, and so much more, there’s a place for everyone to participate.

Enter your favorite projects for a chance to earn a winning ribbon and prize money while sharing your talents with hundreds of fairgoers during the 120th Kendall County Fair.

Even better, all entry fees help fund the Homestead Heritage Exhibit Scholarship, supporting local students and investing in the future of our community.


Art & Photography Entry Day (No Exceptions)

Art and Photography entries will only be accepted during the following date and time:

Saturday, August 29, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

  • This is the only date and time Art and Photography entries will be accepted.
  • Judges’ books close at 3:00 p.m. on August 29 for all Art and Photography divisions.
  • Art and Photography entries will not be accepted on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Early Entry Day (Non-Perishable Entries)

Exhibitors planning to enter on Thursday, September 3, 2026, may complete their exhibitor application and receive an exhibitor number early to avoid the rush.

Entry Information

  • All exhibitors must pay a $5.00 entry fee per exhibitor (not per entry).
  • All exhibitors must be Kendall County residents.
  • No professional exhibitors or dealers will be allowed to enter exhibits. (Display Only)

Exhibit Hall Hours

Thursday, September 3, 2026
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Closes at 5:00 p.m. for judging and will not reopen to the public that day.

Friday, September 4, 2026
5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 5, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 6, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.


Exhibit Pickup

All exhibits must be picked up during the following time:

Monday, September 7, 2026
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

All entries must be picked up on this date during the designated pickup hours.


Exhibit Hall Rules

  • No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, shoe skates, or scooters are allowed inside the Exhibit Hall at any time. This rule will be strictly enforced during Exhibit Hall hours.
  • No smoking or tobacco products are permitted inside the Exhibit Hall.
  • No pets are allowed, with the exception of service animals wearing a vest.
  • The Exhibit Hall is wheelchair accessible, except for the restrooms.
